Continuing in my project of rereading all my favorite poetry books. I still absolutely love this book, although I loved it this time for different reasons and different poems than I did when I was younger. The poems I loved then, I liked this time mostly just because I remembered how much I'd loved them before. Different poems, like "Notilucae", stood out to me this time. I love how this book has so much in it that's really lovely, and at the same time has so much playfulness in it.
Reading this book again, I remembered how I got it signed. I took it with me to AWP, in Chicago I think, and I was all nervous when I asked her to sign it. Denise was all excited--I guess this book is hard to find these days, she seemed so pleased that I had it--and she was very sweet.
