Oh, ghost love stories always make me cry.
This reminded me a bit of A Certain Slant of Light, which I also loved. A different kind of book, but on similar themes--a female ghost who's been haunting around for decades, afraid to face some terrible thing in her past. And this one was so sad. But she got there in the end, found out what had happened to her lover, got the closure she needed to move on. I think what really struck me about this book was how much Razi and Andrew loved each other. Their relationship was very real, and written very well. There were certain scenes that were very vivid. Like the under-the-covers scene in "Eternal Sunshine" - those moments that you just don't forget, ever - those moments were written really well.
I've been reading for hours now, I need to go to bed.
