Okay, I am having a shoe issue. I need some advice, y'all.

I bought some shoes for Amy's wedding (Shoe #1). They are Sam & Libby brand, Kalis style, black ballet flats, size 9, with a bow, $25.

I like those shoes. They're pretty cute. Amy even approved them. However, when I was looking at DSW, I found these other shoes (Shoe #2). They are almost identical. They are Sam & Libby, Light One style, black ballet flats, with a strap instead of a bow.

I didn't get to buy Shoe #2 because they didn't have them in my size. I was very sad and looked at many different stores, but I couldn't find them, so I bought Shoe #1 instead because I figured they're close enough. But Shoe #2 is much more my style. I never wear things with bows on them. Theoretically, because they're cute little ballet flats, I could wear these shoes again and again after Amy's wedding, but I think I am much more likely to wear Shoe #2 than I am to wear Shoe #1. (Assuming identical comfort/fit for both pairs, since they are practically the same exact shoes.)

Here's the question. I found Shoe #2 online at shoemall.com, for $39.99, free shipping, Ooh, or I could get them for $29 on planetshoe.com with $2 shipping (it looks like). I can return Shoe #1 to the store where I bought it. Is it worth paying a bit extra to buy them?

::edit:: ORDERED!! I'll return Shoe #1 after Shoe #2 arrives and I know it'll fit right. And planetshoe looks like a pretty cool website--they have lots of earthy planet-friendly shoes, and I don't think they charged me any shipping. Score!

I think so. I think the second pair is way cuter, and if you'll wear them more then it's definitely worth a little extra.

I agree with Jess. If you're more likely to wear shoe #2 after the wedding, the extra money is worth it.

Want me to check the DSW near me to see if I can find them in your size for less $?

I would really consider that, actually, but I've tried (seriously) three different DSWs near me, and only one had them at all (the first one, of course) and the biggest they had was 8.5. If I thought there was a chance of them having them at a different store, I would totally take you up on it, but since they probably won't and I know you're super busy, I will just say thank you very much for the offer. :)

If you like and will actually wear shoe #2 after the wedding, then it's definitely worth the extra $$. Go for it! :)

If you think you'll wear them again- yes, it's worth it!

I like shoe #2 better. It's a little more work for something you'll actually use. Get the shoes!

And not that it really means anything - I, a person who owns a penis, like shoe #2 more than shoe #1.

Just so you have the opinion of someone who is the proprietor of a penis.

You did the right thing.

"Proprietor of a penis" makes it sound like your penis is a small business. Er, not a "small" business, but, you know, like a family-owned restaurant or something. Like I would go speak to the proprietor of this fine establishment to make a comment on the service.

Anyway, thanks for the shoe opinion! I'm glad I bought the second pair, too.

My business is always receptive to comments and suggestions from its customers. TRUE.

I never wear things with bows on them.

You won't wear the bows, buy shoe#2.

...I could wear these shoes again and again ..., but I think I am much more likely to wear Shoe #2 than I am to wear Shoe #1.

Yes, it's worth the extra $15 bucks, buy shoe#2.

Way to go with Shoe #2! I like them better anyway ;)
