I completely rocked today's Scrabble game. Players: Kari, Jean, Liam, Christine, me.
My words:
11 points - BEE (lame, I know)
36 points - MOURN/EM
20 points - HIVE/RE
18 points - LIGHT
and here's where I delivered the conquering blow:
73 points - (CH)ARIOT/OHO/IT
I used up all my letters to play (CH)ARIOT, on a triple word, when there were no more letters in the bag, thus ending the game. Whee!
My total was 158, and then I added in everyone's leftover points - turns out I stuck Christine with the Q and Z. Ouch. My final score overall was 200. In a five-person game! Kari ended with 85, Christine with 69 (she'd been in first place before I went out), Jean with 45, and Liam with an undisclosed score, although he mentioned that my final score was more than three times his. Overall, a really exciting game. Yay Scrabble!
