Yay, light fun YA fantasy!
Okay, unresolved plot line. Dagbert's dad, Lord Grimwald, was told to go drown Charlie's parents on their trip. That was the exchange. But he left the story right after dropping off Dagbert, and we never saw or heard from him again. What happened to that dropped plotline? Did he just instantly die when Dagbert turned 12? Or is this going to pick up again in the next book? We never even heard it mentioned again, and at the end of the book, Charlie's parents seem to be just fine.
