17 submissions, sitting on my floor ready to go! Well, as soon as I print the cover letters at work tomorrow and get more stamps. I'm really pleased--these are almost all of the journals I was really interested in from AWP. Still need to put together a submission for Image, but that's going to be all St. Monica stuff, and there's a poem or two in there I'd like to buzz through again before I send them out. And there were a few journals I liked that aren't in a reading period right now; I'll hang on to the guidelines for those until the fall.
I'd like to add that I figured out how to print envelopes from my computer. Holy crap, did that save me some time. The SASEs too, 34 envelopes I didn't have to write by hand. I = brilliant.
I really don't want to do a big bulk submission like this very often, even with printing out the envelopes, because it's just a lot of work, but maybe twice a year would be a good thing. In between the big bulk sends, I'll do a few here and there like normal. Yay for developing a system.
