I love David Cook like anything, but I have to admit, Archuleta brought it home tonight. I think he may have won it.
According to Paula, David Cook was "standing in [his] truth". Maybe that was the problem. Standing in one's truth sounds like it would be... messy.
I think it might be better for David Cook in the long run if he doesn't win--it'd give him a little more freedom to make the kind of album he'd be best suited to make. I mean, look at Daughtry, he's rocking out and Taylor Hicks is where, exactly? Yeah. I think David Cook is going to get a great record deal no matter what happens. But still. Winning is awfully nice.
