This book was awesome! I really liked it. A well-imagined post-nuclear holocaust world that ISN'T a dystopia, thankyouverymuch; I didn't even realize it until someone died of radiation poisoning several chapters in. A smart, strong female lead character, and a a lot of snakes. Very cool. I have not yet read a Hugo book I didn't like.
