I love Peter S. Beagle, seriously. He wrote The Last Unicorn, and another of my all-time favorite books, Tamsin. I'm getting a little concerned about his preoccupation with ghosts and death, but I guess exploring it in his fiction is probably a good way to get it out of his system. Anyway, A Fine and Private Place seems to be his first novel. I kind of really liked it. A very gentle and sweet book about what it means to be alive. Even if you live in a graveyard. Recommended.
