books 2008: Lord of Emperors, by Guy Gavriel Kay

I reread the entire book in probably under 36 hours. Yesterday was my "hide in a book" day. Books don't live in California! Books are RIGHT HERE WHEN I NEED THEM!

Unfortunately, none of my books have hands or skin or brown eyes or a lovely big nose or any of the nice parts F has. Books don't tell jokes or buy me cheese and they're not as good to snuggle with. Books smell good, but F smells better. So I must persevere, I think, in my relationship with F. Sigh.

I really do love this series, though. Some of my favorites by Kay. I love them more than the Fionavar books, I think.

Books live in California too! Oh, and I don't give you paper cuts, I've got that going for me as well. Speaking of books, maybe I'll download those photos tonight. ;)
