i just discovered that in the little kitchen on my floor (ie, the fifth floor, not the carpeted thing you stand on), there's not only hot chocolate packets, but also cappucino packets. hot beverages are good to have at work because i always get so cold just sitting at a desk all day. i had a french vanilla earlier and i just got a hazelnut which smells ymmuy. scorezor! oh well if i'm wired, right? :) and on the sixth floor, where the big kitchen and breakroom are, they only have hot chocolate. they do have a better soda selection, though.

add to the to-do list: copy some of my backgrounds from my home computer onto disk and bring them to work. copy my thesis files onto disk; bring to work to reformat (i want to make a booklet that will work double-sided and side-folded) and surreptitiously print. (when it's done, i'm taking it to kinko's for copying, so i can send little chapbook-sized theses to certain people and my mom). after transferring files to the work computer, i then need to copy the thing sarah sent me last week onto the empty disk and take it home to watch it there, because my work computer has a block against running windows media player. she near crashed my yahoo mailbox with it, i'm damn well going to watch it now.
