I knew there was a Stargirl sequel, but I honestly wasn't intending to get it right away. I just happened to be at the library Monday night and it happened to be right there in front of me on the YA shelf, and then I just happened to spend all night reading it. I really liked it. I think it's a very different kind of book from the original. Stargirl loses some of her mystique when she starts telling the story herself, but I kind of like that about it. Overall, both books are recommended.
