It's a Buffy novel! Set after the end of season 7. It was really fun to see what Golden came up with for the characters. And I think it even pretty much fits into the season 8 world of the comics, too. Golden writes the characters' voices pretty darn well. Very enjoyable. And the plotline with Willow had me tearing up by the end. Recommended for BtVS fans.
After reading this, I was all missing my Buffy, so I picked up the stack of comics I haven't read yet and read the last five issues of season 8 (all of "Time of Your Life" and the one-off cartoon one). So fun! I miss my Buffy. Now to catch up on Angel and read the Spike miniseries...
