yo. work is boring and stupid. teh.

to give me something interesting to think about at work, i've been refreshing my memory on the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. these books completely obsessed me (and my parents) a few years back. i want to reread them all eventually, but now there's so many books and they're really thick (not a quick read, either, very complex), so i'm going to wait to reread them till the Actual Last Book comes out. i think it'll be book 12 or 15, i don't know, but that's still several books away. however, i own the newest book (a signed copy that my awesome mother got for me) and i want to read it, but it's been so long since i read the others that i know i'll be lost. thankfully, there's nice places like wotmania; in addition to loads of other stuff, they've got pretty in-depth chapter summaries of every chapter of every book. and it's awesome--i'm reading these at work, and because i connected really well with the characters, i'll remember how the conversations went just from the synopses. i'm getting all addicted again, and i can't wait to read more. and robert fucking jordan better not die before he finishes these, that's all i can say.

anyway, things to do:

-get the freud action figure for samantha
-find and purchase father's day presents
-send the box to mom & dad
-replace brita filter
-draino the bathroom sink again
-clean up the apartment
-talk to danyell about when we could visit her
-post my movies-to-watch list
-mend the little tears in the orangey shirt; stitch the hole in my funky purse; fix beige sweater sleeve
-plan and make a mix tape for missi
-reformat thesis; print surreptitiously, take to kinko's for copying, and send to people
