And dammit, I am sucked in again.
I love that Desmond named the baby Charlie. I love Des & Penny's ship of love. It's awesome.
Didn't we see Faraday's mom in last week's episode? She was in a church or something and it looked Oxfordy. Was Widmore lying?
And the plot thickens--Widmore was on the island as a young man. I wouldn't have thought he was 20+ years older than Locke, though. That would make him really old to be Penny's dad, too. Did the island slow down his aging?
I think the blonde girl with the braid wrapped around her head is going to go on to be Faraday's mom, and that's why she looked familiar to him.
In last week's episode, I was so surprised by how much I missed Hurley. Hurley is excellent. The fact that Hurley is in jail is NOT excellent.
I feel like, with all the time jumping, we are going to find out some useful information about who the damn Others are FINALLY.
Now we know why Richard came to see John when he was a little boy, though. I guess he didn't pass the test because he didn't choose the compass? But still. Interesting.
Theory: Whatever is happening to Charlotte now is the same thing that happened to poor Teresa at Oxford, which is why Daniel recognizes it and swears he'll stop it.
Theory: The Others did encase the H-bomb in cement and bury it... under The Hatch, and that's why Desmond had to keep pushing the button, to keep it from exploding. Although the more I think about this theory, the more it doesn't seem to work. The Hatch was built by Dharma, after all, and 1954 is before Dharma came to the island. Also, we were told that The Hatch was channeling some sort of Island power and the button dispersed the power so it wouldn't explode--although they could have been lying.

Good theory about Charlotte and Teresa!
