books 2009: Pippi in the South Seas, by Astrid Lindgren

I found this for 75 cents at a thrift store and had to snatch it up. This was one of my favorite books as a kid. Rereading it, I was a little annoyed by Pippi herself, but the story of their trip to Kurrekurredutt Island came back to me just like when I was little. I wanted a cave and coconuts to throw at invading pirates who wanted my pearls. This was fun to read again.
