I've been wanting to reread this pretty much ever since I finished it the first time. I really loved this book this first time through--a little less this time, but I still like it very much. The epilogue I love less after this read--it just seems a little trite, like it could have been better. But the book overall, I really like. A fitting conclusion to the series. Go Harry.

That epilogue was disastrous. Scorpius?!? Really? And poor Hermione, finally just beaten down by Ron's inexorable selfishness. She could have been somebody, but she's clearly just a baby factory and Ron's apologist now.

But that's just how Rowling wants her characters to be; trapped in overly traditional roles. barfff...

Hey...sorry, I guess that was a little harsh, huh? I get really whipped up into a rage about that book and it's hard to dial it down for a dialogue. :(
