Last night, F's flight home from Florida was delayed, so I got to pick him up at the airport at 12:45 AM, and we didn't get to bed until around 1:30. I treated myself to a half-sick day today and slept in, then indulged in a nice long yoga practice. (For those keeping track, that's two days in a row!) I did 45-50 minutes of yoga. I felt really strong and good. Did a good headstand, too--kicked right up, and balanced really well, hardly using the wall at all.
I tried out new yoga music today: Krishna Das's album "Pilgrim Heart". I totally loved it. The first song is just so beautiful and joyful. I really liked the 16-minute meltdown song, too. It's a really long album, so I didn't get to finish it, but it was really enjoyable to do yoga with it, and it really contributed to my mood and to the practice. And I have two more Krishna Das albums to try out!
