I've been doing two kinds of reading lately: books about yoga and health and balance, and books that are complete avoidance of my problems. This would be the latter. The Hero and the Crown is one of my all-time favorite books, and I haven't read it in years. It was really delightful--so nice to read an enthralling story without having to rush to find out what happens. I know what happens because I've read it dozens of times, but it's still enthralling. I just took my time and savored it.
I think I may reread quite a few McKinley novels this spring, and then perhaps move on to some Le Guin.
