BMG stuff

so, like every month i end up buying crap from bmg. but i'm getting good deals: just now, i spent $16.55 on four cds, including shipping. they're having a 70% off thing, plus somehow i had these free music vouchers that i used a few of. i got:

Sarah McLachlan - Afterglow (because i'm still loyal, even if she did sell out)
Coldplay - Parachutes (because i need my own copy)
Sheryl Crow - Tuesday Night Music Club (because i should've had this ages ago)
INXS - Kick (see above)

i looked for Snow Patrol and The Sounds, grass_stained, but they didn't have them, and they still don't have Dar Williams.

damn! i just thought of this: the David Bowie two-disc Best Of that i've been wanting! why didn't i use the stupid free music vouchers on that?? now i've got one free music voucher left, and i can't use it on a two-disc set. if i bought it right now it would be $7.49 plus shipping for a total of $12.27. i mean, that's not bad, but it's not free. well, shit. i guess i'll wait til next month and see what their deal is then.

extraugly shirts / wall critter / yoga / cordy!

if anyone wants to buy me a present, i really, really want a shirt from extraugly.com. i favor this one and this one, but they all rock. we should all invest our $20 in a shirt from this website.

in other news. there's a critter living in the wall between my office and joe's. i can hear it moving around and gnawing on things. at first i was thinking, what the hell is joe *doing* in there? but then i heard it when i knew he wasn't there. i checked with him and he hears it too. the maintenance people know about it and are going to check it out, but until then i get to listen to it chewing stuff.

i went to gene's yoga class again today. i really like gene. i went to katherine's class on tuesday night but didn't mention it because it was tuesday night and i didn't get online afterward. i also had a sarah e-e massage on tuesday night--let's hear it for massage therapy students and their homework!! yaaaaaaay. anyway, today's class was awesome first of all because i didn't fall asleep, and secondly because i did a really good job and was more flexible than usual. i was able to get a good clasp in several positions i've never been able to clasp in before, and i did a full backbend for the first time in months. i should really be doing more yoga moves when i'm not in class, but at least i can tell that the yoga is doing something. i was totally energized after class today, too.

in other news: i won a Cordelia action figure on ebay! maybe we'll stage our own version of "Cordy!" in our apartment when she arrives. hee.
