Thanks for doing my Name My iPod poll. The current frontrunners are Eli (which actually I thought of because my dad's middle name is Elias), Howl, and ipodzorznorz (which Jorn just came up with the other night off the top of his head and which for some reason I really like). I'm leaning toward Howl or ipodzorznorz but I still can't make up my mind. In other ipod news, Carlos is my new best friend because he's offered me his old ipod wall charger that he doesn't use anymore, and that will save me $30. That's worth not just a great big hug, but major help organizing your apartment if you still want it, dude (I didn't forget!). We should plan now a time to get together after my London trip, ok? (And interestingly, I wouldn't be going on this London trip if Carlos hadn't found super-cheap fares on Virgin Atlantic like, last summer. Dude, I'm going to organize the hell of your apartment!) Also, Heather has offered me her UK power adapter, so I can take back the one I bought and save another $13. I have Teh Best Friends. :)

Last night I went with Jorn, Dann, and Heather to see the Dave Chappelle block party movie. Good music and all, but I was most impressed that Dave Chappelle is actually honest-to-God *that funny* when he's just walking around and stuff. I wouldn'tve cared about the movie at all except that periodically he popped up and cracked some jokes.

Jorn leaves for his trip to TX tomorrow. I'll kiss him goodbye tomorrow morning and then I won't see him again for almost two whole weeks--by the time he gets back from TX, I'll be in London already. Teh Sad. :(

The sentimental value of "Eli" is very tender plus it means "lifting up".

I still don't know why you haven't gone with my name suggestion! Seriously...

If it's Eli, then you should get a copy of "Eli's coming" to play on it.

If you name it Howl, then you need some Ginsberg and his crazy ranty poetry.

I've never heard "Eli's coming". Howl would be for the moving castle, though, not for Ginsberg. I actually have some nasty memories of David making me listen to a horrible recording of that poem.
