Fandom Grammarians!

This message is for all my fanfic and slash enthusiasts (pocketwitch, I'm looking at you in particular here, but I know there's more of y'all on my f-list who'd be into this). My friend theemdash is planning to start a fandom grammar community. Grammar questions answered and grammar explained through fandom examples! Articles and advice that will help people stop writing such crappy fanfic! Both fun and excitement! I'm going to be helping to mod this community, being as I am a giant grammar nerd. Em's original idea for the community is here, and she is planning things out here. Check it out if you'd be interested in reading the comm, or in writing for it. I'll post again when the community actually gets off the ground and I start writing for it. Whee!

I'm willing to help out! Obscure grammar is my bread and butter; a huge part of teaching Latin is really about teaching English.

Yeah, but I try to keep it under my hat because it's pretty much identifying information and I'm paranoid about Teh Intarweb. I added you to my friendslist so you can read the locked posts about it (I figure if supercheesegirl knows you, it's okay). :-)

Ooo, that sounds neat! I think my grammar is usually fairly decent but I'm hardly an expert - I don't think I ever took a single grammar class in college. I'll actually be more likely to watch the community and learn from it and use it as a resource if I'm not certain about something.
